
Obiageli Stella Ubani, professionally known as Oby, is a British Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, and worship leader/minister with a remarkable tenure of over 20 years in the worship ministry.
Oby's musical journey began at the tender age of 12, and her spiritual awakening occurred in 1998 when she dedicated her life to Jesus Christ at Christ Embassy Campus, located in Delta State University, Nigeria. Since then, she has exhibited unwavering passion and commitment to the ministry of music, faithfully leading worship within the body of Christ. She has served as a music minister in Destiny International Christian Assembly for 15yrs and served as the head of music at the Covenant Nation United Kingdom. Her nick name God’s own Minstrel and Maidservant. Her ministry is characterised by Her deep reverence for the word of God and the presence of God is evident in her musical expression.
In addition to her musical pursuits, Oby is a devoted mother of three and a woman of prayer, renowned for her intercessory abilities, her stands for righteousness and consecration in the worship ministry. She is the convener of the Heart of Worship Programme online. She comprehends the transformative power of the waiting place, the refining process on the threshing floor, and the moulding experience on the Lord's potter's wheel. Which inspired her signature song “God of The Broken Clay”; “We Win Whenever We Call His Name” Her songs are inspired by scriptures and life’s testimonies, highlighting the resurrection power of our Lord Jesus Christ and his power to change and rebuild lives. Oby carries an unusual presence of the Holy Spirit when she ministers, she ministers from a place of depth, revelation and intimacy with God. Her passion is to see God’s people worship and praise him in Spirit and in Truth.
